This very dramatic black colored serving bowl from Belle cuisine collection is the perfect serving bowl for mussels. Same color as a mussel’s shell, with its nice deep wide shape, this bowl will hold mussels perfectly. It is also suitable to serve a small salad for 2 people, or enhance the serve of a gourmet pasta dish or any healthy-dinner. So as to seanson your dishes, you can use the olive oil and vinegar cruets French Classique. You can use it to both prepare and serve side dishes. Handles are part of the same mold for more resistance, easy grabbing and easy handling. Made of culinary porcelain, the bowl is black all the way through. The clay is black and has specific black enamel creating a cast-iron look. It is resistant to thermal and mechanical choc; it can also be used in the oven and microwave and it is of course dishwasher safe. Belle cuisine is an iconic collection of REVOL: it includes a selection of baking dishes (rectangular, square and individual bakers, cocottes and crème brulee dishes) of different sizes and colors – all with the same iconic handle. Almost every baking dish is available in white (white clay with a glossy glaze) or black (black clay with a cast iron “look” glaze). Most of the pieces also come in the Eclipse version – black clay with a half grey or red glaze. This is what you must know about Belle Cuisine:

There are some excess Porcelain at the bottom of the bowl that make it unbalance. It cannot be removed easily and caused a scratch on my table.
The Bowl I purchased looks awesome. However I did think it was bigger than it actually was, but I'm fine with it. I was hoping it would be larger like a big serving salad bowl or something like that. Now I use it as my Ramen bowl! Did I mention it looks great with my Cast Iron Skillets!
