Launched in September 2018, the Caractère collection has since enjoyed great success with professionals due to the simplicity of its design, which enhances plating, and the richness of its hues. By expanding the collection with a new cooking range, designer Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance continues to master the art of transforming the functional into objects of great narrative strength. He creates an evolving, vibrant table for us!
Noé Duchaufour Lawrence and REVOL met in 2018 to start a collaboration that would prove successful. The idea was to create a special collection to celebrate REVOL's 250th anniversary. The Caractere collection is the perfect combination of craftsmanship and French heritage. Manufacturer and designer worked hand in hand for a year to create a collection whose story carries strong values. Today, I work in a wide range of disciplines and materials. It is important for me to have a strong narrative. I approach design with instinct and sensitivity and have worked on a variety of projects in architecture, furniture design, interiors, and limited edition collections. My collaborations include Ligne Roset, Cinna, Saint Louis, Hermès, Ceccotti Collezioni, Bernhardt Design, Sèvres, Mobilier National, Dior, Baccarat, La Chance, Petite Friture, Zanotta, Tacchini, ZaoZuo, Kundalini, Neal Feay, and now REVOL. My approach to design celebrates the meeting of heritage, materials, industrial design, natural forms, and artisanal craftsmanship. A sensitive and talented creator, praised by critics and awarded numerous prizes, Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance is an outstanding storyteller. Chosen by Revol to imagine an anniversary collection for the 250th anniversary of the factory, the designer drew inspiration from the uniqueness and daily life of the Drôme factory to give birth to "Caractère." Like a calligrapher, he unfolds an alphabet composed of elementary shapes and signs a collection that bears witness to bicentennial know-how.
