The Madeleine and Equinoxe teapots echo traditional tea service shapes, cleverly rejuvenated with a short spout that adds roundness to the whole. Addressing well-defined service and usage issues, the Pekoë collection is primarily the result of in-depth technical research conducted in collaboration with designer Lucas Frank, who advocates a very concrete design approach focused on function. Creamer, sugar bowl, bowl, plate, teapot, and bamboo tray, along with the original cups, come together to create the ideal landscape for an inspired "tea time," drawing equally from the gourmet aesthetics of French tea and the clean lines of Asian tradition.
