Contrary to the current trend that praises the imperfect poetry of accidental ceramics, the first wish of young designer Lucas Frank was to pay tribute to the high technicality of the material as worked with the precision of the industry. At ECAL, the renowned art school in Lausanne where he was trained, Lucas Frank absorbs the precepts of a rigorous creative grammar, inherited from Swiss-German philosophy, which advocates a very concrete design approach focusing on function.

Made in France

Designed by the young and talented designer Lucas Frank, the Pekoë tea set pays tribute to the high-tech nature of the material, as worked with the precision and expertise of the manufacture.

Addressing practical usage and service needs, the winged pattern ensures the absolute stability of the cup on its base through a subtle interlocking design.

The milk jug, sugar bowl, cup, and teapot have been designed based on this same principle, allowing one to appreciate, when placed on the table for tea time, the precisely engineered workings of an industry that is always ahead of its time. This tea set combines contemporary softness with finely measured aesthetics. The Pekoë collection heralds the beginning of a high-end tasting experience. It is one of the most recognized design signatures in the culinary world.

Black ceramic is a signature clay of the REVOL manufacture. It has the same technical qualities as REVOL porcelain. It is non-porous and coloured throughout thanks to the expertise of our R&D department.
