The Bombance collection invites you to savor the joy of eating and sharing a meal around a convivial object that brings people together: the casserole dish.
The collection includes 5 casserole diameters and 4 oven dish sizes. The pieces are available in two versions: “oven and table” and “buffet induction,” the latter for professional use to maintain temperature. Two color options are offered: Cloud Gray and Alabaster White, featuring a fully glossy enamel finish that is smooth, soft, and pleasant to the touch.
Revol owes its longevity to its mastery of the entire production chain, combined with a strong culture of innovation and exceptional bicentennial expertise. This collection embodies French craftsmanship, blending artisanal tradition with industrial excellence.
Who better than Inga Sempé, with her love for brasserie-style cooking far removed from haute gastronomy, to reinvent this iconic object? By giving carte blanche to the renowned French designer, Revol reaffirms its commitment to culinary culture, making the casserole dish a centerpiece of tableware and buffet settings.
The originality of the casserole's design lies in its bulging band that encircles the body, giving it a reassuring roundness. This ridge extends outward to form highly durable one-piece handles, a simple idea at first glance but technically complex to achieve. The lid's handle is integrated into a recessed cavity called the "pool," ensuring it stays flush with the domed lid, protected within its hollow from mechanical shocks. Inside the lid, studs distribute condensation droplets evenly over the dish to prevent it from drying out. Inga Sempé also used these studs to spell out "Revol," adding character to the upturned lid.
Building on the casserole’s distinctive design, with its band and one-piece handles, oven dishes in the collection provide a cheerful backdrop for healthy and delicious recipes.
Bombance is the name chosen for this collection. It is both a reference to the rounded shape of the casserole dish and a festive reference to the French expression "faire bombance," which evokes a meal filled with laughter, indulgence, and merriment.
